An introduction by Marcel Wets,
I am the General Manager of Sindbad Camp and rent out my house when I am not in Dahab.
The house can comfortably accommodate nine people in three separate bedrooms.
Bedroom one: One Double Bed
Bedroom Two: One Double Bed and Two Single Beds
Bedroom Three: One Double Bed and One Single bed
The house is located in the Light House Area.
A bustling neighbourhood with many restaurants and shops, close to Dahab Bay and the entrance to Light House Reef.
The area is, therefore, lively, but from about midnight – and in winter much earlier – it is quiet outside.
The house was originally Bedouin but has been upgraded to a decent level of luxury over the years. It is highly suitable for blended families.
All the bedrooms have air conditioning and a fan.
There are two Harishas (outdoor living rooms – Harisha is the Bedouin word for shaded place, where people gather to drink tea and receive guests, every Bedouin house has such a place) where it is lovely to relax.
There are two toilets, each with a shower, one with hot and cold running water and the other with only cold running water.
The kitchen has a large fridge with a freezer compartment; a three-burner gas stove; a sandwich maker; a kettle, and plenty of kitchen utensils.
Free WiFi is available.
The staff of Sindbad Camp can help you with advice and help when needed.
We can also put you in touch with the right people if you want to go into the mountains or dive; freediving; wind – or kitesurfing; horse riding; mountaineering, etc.
We can arrange a taxi to and from the airport for you.
You can only make a reservation for the house after you have contacted me and shared what you are coming to Dahab for.
